Pastor Michael O'Mealy
Pastor Michael O’Mealy was born in St. Catherines, Jamaica West Indies. He accepted his call to ministry when he was 15 years of age. His mother Carmen Crossman was a great inspiration to him. Prior to coming to America, Pastor O’Mealy was fully involved in an evangelistic ministry. As he traveled to many churches preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
He always had a great love for God’s people of all ages and background. Pastoral O’Mealy had been a member of the Pilgrim church for 22 years or so, before the Lord called him to pastoral leadership of the Pentecostal Pilgrim Church of God. This ‘Man of God’ is a dedicated servant to God’s people and in the House of the Lord. He visits and prays for the sick, and he is hands on in all areas of ministry, from the pulpit to the bathroom maintenance and facilities, mentoring and whatever his hands find to do.
He works as plumber, Carpenter, electrician, and any role necessary to maintain the House of the Lord. Moreover, pastor O’Reilly provides food and transportation for those who need, without any expectation from man. He is a blessing to all who are honored to know him. Pastor Michael O’Mealy is the husband of Evangelist Monica O’Meally and father to their three lovely children: Anarsha, Michelle and Michael. He is a cultivator of the Godly potential in people, a dedicated father, loving husband, compassionate shepherd, and a true worshipper. In 1982 Reverend Michael O’Mealy joined Pentecostal Church of God after several years of dedicated service to the leadership and members of the body he was elevated to assistant pastor in 1990.
From 1982 – 1990 Reverend Michael O’Mealy was in the process of preparation for the high call of God to the Pastoral leadership of the Pentecostal Pilgrim Church of God. After 62 years some have moved on home to be with the Lord. Some have moved on, and some remain, but this pilgrimage continues. It was faith that brought us thus far and faith will lead us home.
